Enjay IT Solutions Ltd (“Enjay,” “we,” “our,” “us”), headquartered in Bhilad, Gujarat, provides the Sandesh Chat platform powered by the WhatsApp Business API. This expanded policy offers clear details on how we handle your information, based on the nine key points.
1. What We Collect
We collect information only as necessary to provide you with secure, compliant messaging services:
- Account Data: Details like your business name, authorized contact person, and verified phone number, which are vital for setting up and managing your Sandesh Chat account.
- Message Metadata: We keep records of message delivery details such as timestamps, WhatsApp template IDs, and status (delivered, read, failed). Message content is never accessed or stored due to WhatsApp’s end-to-end encryption.
- Support Records: Communications via email, chat, or tickets sent to our helpdesk, to ensure fast and relevant assistance.
- Technical Logs: These are data points like device type, IP address, error diagnostics, and platform usage statistics, used for troubleshooting and security improvements.
We do not collect your customers’ personal messages or any unnecessary personal data.
2. Why We Use Your Data
We process your data for the following essential reasons:
- Message Delivery: To send and receive your WhatsApp messages as requested, enabling reliable business communication.
- Platform Security & Maintenance: For fraud detection, unauthorized access prevention, technical support, and to resolve problems quickly.
- Legal Compliance: To adhere to Indian laws and WhatsApp’s Business Policy requirements, ensuring our services operate lawfully and ethically.
- Analytics and Improvement: We use de-identified data for anonymised reports (such as delivery or response rates) that help you enhance your campaigns. You can opt out of these analytics features at any time.
We never use or sell your information for unsolicited marketing.
3. How Long We Keep Information
Each data type has a specific retention period for privacy and regulatory compliance:
- Message Metadata: Retained for a maximum of 30 days after message delivery, then deleted from our systems, ensuring privacy.
- Account and Billing Data: Kept for the duration of your customer relationship and up to five years after account closure, meeting business and legal record-keeping requirements.
- Support Records: Maintained for two years to improve service quality and resolve recurring issues.

- Encrypted Storage & Access Controls: All stored data is protected using strong encryption. Only authorized staff—who have passed strict background and security checks—can access sensitive information, and only for approved purposes.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Staff accounts require multiple identification steps to minimize unauthorized access.
- Continuous Monitoring: Real-time security systems monitor for threats, and annual audits by independent professionals verify our controls and preparedness.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You have strong rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we make it easy to exercise them:
- View & Update: You can request a summary of your account data or make corrections if anything is incorrect or out of date.
- Delete Data: Ask us to erase your information, except where legal or regulatory obligations require retention.

7. Children’s Privacy
- Sandesh Chat is built exclusively for business use and not intended for anyone under the age of 18.
- We do not knowingly gather, store, or process any information relating to children. If we discover such data inadvertently, we remove it promptly and notify the relevant account holder.

- We keep our policy current with legal requirements, industry changes, and evolving best practices.
- We will email all registered contacts and post updated versions at least 30 days before any material changes take effect, so you always know how your data is handled.
